In reviewing the layout plans and profile for this parcel,it is apparent that a conventional gravity system would be costly to install. The low pressure approach is not only a technical solution to this problem,but also allows for economic/cost advantages to be realized with the much lower installation costs. 2.0 System Analysis Using the drawing and the data that you supplied,we have run the enclosed preliminary pressure sewer pipe sizing and branch analysis.This analysis was run through our computer design program which employs our latest Flow Velocity and Friction Head Loss vs Pumps In Simultaneous Operation Chart. This analysis was based on the use of SDR-11 HDPE pipe and a "C" factor of 150 for both laterals and mains. In accordance with your instructions the site was assumed to be flat. In determining the most critical head requirement,Zone 1 was found to realize25.92 feet of TDH, 16.22 feet of this was due to accumulated friction loss and 10 feet to elevation difference. Since the most critical zone is well under the pumps rating of 138 feet,and the 25.92 feet of TDH will be seen only actually once or twice a day,we feel the system should function in a sound manner with no detriment due to TDH. Good practice suggests the installation of cleanouts and flushing connections,which are generally located at the terminal end of each main,at intersections,and at sharp changes in directions. In line connections should be installed at 600 to 800 foot intervals depending on the terrain and layout of the system. m E v O O o Lo v s U F- i - N N N N _ N N Q u > Q" ° m m ai U O C Q O -C N dj CB c 2 =3 a .°_ C: O 0 Ina O C d N r C lL w N a E E in C OL D  O 'c ca `o O > m cu r w m W N N co U m 0 U N (n c m m N LL o (O r U Q Q LL v N 7 Z N C CfS 2 °- N 3 N E ( •U j (n N (D W qz U- cc r (l7 m O F- U E c ( /0 C t❑ c  N LO C- V Q L U v O Z a) p ,v O N N = •a O •a, Q !n ❑ Q c rL N >, W = °' p Mn .r rn E . o a ti L) W Y M Q W E L p U M d fq °r 70 r N U) N aai 0 cQ LO co _ O E O 30 N N J LL cr L Z n c z C o 0 3 W E 25 aNN c IL x v '0 E F 'v m I I I I I I I I I I I > cn ) Mn ov m 0 o +  N N N C L (0 Q ~ N cn L  U fQ  (fl w U U U O C VO1 O O c N N » U ~ N N E v- U v O O z r ++ .n W (II co❑ N F Z r C) N N O co c ^ C) O U m O = L O cu CL N E m < E E Q 06 Q O C O O` C co > O C cL) CD •C c II W c CO a cn > E 0 C) Un LL ~ a cu J D Q w Z a, , oo Q u p = M cu 2 v cu ui E U < o a M m CL m L E CL > z > ' 3 Gp Q1>1) o ii Z — C _ N A (q M d  •` aO o avj Q Y U N a v O N c O  •C a' U w EE V cu (fl s ai CD W o M CL o V CL U) 'o w (u N O° o w m CL _ Z n.
