Dear Paul:
Driveway entrance permits are required. Permit applications
and information are available at the Highway Department.
Plans must also be submitted with a detailed plan of the origin

PLANNING BOARD
North Andover, Ma.
Gentlemen;
`I'he:5 site plan of Paul B. W:ia,liamsv Inc. . I?'a..TaC;ship Drive,
North Andover, meets all the zoning requirements Of the town. The
building, as shown, is 100 feet from the property line as r°equired.
and there is a fifty foot, open buffer zone; abutting the property
line. NO driveway, paving, etc. intrudes antra the residentially
zoned land or the fifty foot buffer zone.
The plan that T reviewed did not show the zoning boundary
line or the required three handicap parking spaces and did not show
the lot, designations
I have been informed by Mr. Queen, the engineer involved,
that a corrected plan showing the three items above will be sub=
mitted to your Board this evening. If these corrections are made,
then T have no objection to the plan being approved by your Board.
Very trull yours,

Re: 70 Flagship Drive - Paul B. Williams Co.
Dear Charlie:
At the Planning 1,,ar meeting held on December 17th, the site plan of
Paul B. Williams Compaiy was presented and discussed at some length.
Much discussinn, f -,cused on the fifty foot greenbelt area and how it
could be best maintair -,d as a natural buffer between the residential district
and industrial district. Alternative plans will be submitted at a later date
depicting this greenbet. In addition there was some concern regarding the
allowed uses in an Indistrial-1 District, specifically the clause (Section 4. 129
par. 14) permitting warehousing and wholesaling as a secondary use only.
Therefore, the board interprets this section of the bylaw as meaning any
warehousing and wholesaling use conducted in more than 50% of the square floor
area would put the user in violation of the zoning bylaw. If this. interpretation
is incorrect, would you kindly notify the board of such.
Sincerely,
Michael P. Roberts
Vice Chairman
