NELSON, DIRECTOR SEP September 15 , 1988 Mr. Daniel Long, Town Clerk Town Hall 120 Main Street North Andover, MA 01845 Re: Micromatics , 80 Flagship Drive, Site Plan Review through the Special Permit Process Dear Mr . Long: The North Andover Planning Board held a public hearing on Thursday evening, August 18 , 1988 , in the Town Hall, Selectmen' s Meeting Room upon the applciation of Micromatics ProductsCo. , Inc . , 80 Flagship Drive, North Andover. The hearing was duly advertised in the North Andover Citizen on July 21 and July 28, 1988 . The following members were present: George Perna, Vice-Chairman; John Simons, Clerk; Erich Nitzsche and Michael Leary. Paul Hedstrom, Chairman, arrived at 8 : 40 p.m. John Simons read the legal notice to open the public hearing . A letter was received and read from the Police Department. The petitioner seeks approval of Site Plan Review under Section 8 . 3 of the North Andover Zoning Bylaw for the construction of a 10, 590 sq, ft. addition to an existing 12 , 308 sq.ft. , one story structure, located at 80 Flagship Drive. After a discussion on mitigation of run-off, parking, landscaping, and lighting, Erich Nitzsche made a motion to close the public hearing and take the matter under advisement. The motion was seconded by Michael Leary and voted unanimously by the Board. Due to the lack of a quorum on September 8 , 1988 , the Planning Board did not meet. The meeting was rescheduled for September 13 , 1988 . On September 13 , 1988 the Planning Board held a meeting with the following members present and voting: Paul Hedstrom, Chairman; George Perna, Vice-Chairman; John Simons , Clerk; Erich Nitzsche and Michael Leary. Page 2: After a brief discussion on the landscaping issues, a motion was made by Michael Leary to approve the drafted decision as amended incorporating the necessary language changes .
