Robert Nicetta,Building Commissioner Re: Jackqui Young School for the Performing arts,Inc. 30 School Street Please be advised that the proposed location as reference above is located in the General Business District(GB). The applicant in her correspondence to me(copy in the Town Planner's packet)does not indicate the number of students,employees or waiting parents that will be on site at any given time. Therefore,I cannot estimate if the number of parking spaces provided are sufficient. A strict interpretation of Section 8.3(2)(a)(iii)and(c)of the Zoning By-Law states in part"any new use of or change in use of a structure and/or vehicular traffic" requires a site plan review. There will be a change of vehicular traffic and the prior use of the building as office space in my opinion requires at the minimum a waiver of site plan review.
