Planning Board Discussion
Dear Ms. Byerley,
My partner Frank Terranova and I are in the process of evaluating the suitability for reuse
of 1659 Osgood Street, a 1.8 acre parcel in the I-S zone. This property has been used as
residential with a main house and a second house to the rear of the parcel. The property
has been vacant for at least one year. We plan to redevelop this property in a phased
manner with the following program.
• Phase I —Occupancy of the site for a contractors yard and use of the 1000
sf small building to the rear of the lot as office space for the contractor.
The front two story main home with two stall garage would be razed.
• Phase 2—Construction of a 40 ft X 80 ft, three bay, storage garage
• Phase 3 —Construction of a two story office building.
We have prepared the attached conceptual plans for each phase. Although this three
phase redevelopment represents our master plan, we do not foresee advancing anything
but phase one for the next two years. We seek an opportunity to discuss these plans with
the Planning Board to determine the approval process to occupy the site as shown in
phase one.
