III. New Business
AGENDA ITEM: A CPA Proposals
Discussion: John Simon spoke on the CPA Warrant Article List. There are three areas that CPA
money can go to Open Space, Affordable Housing and Recreation 10% for each area.
CPA cannot fund operation or expenses.
PB asked if Atkinson School could be considered historical
JS Not Atkinson but Bradstreet school they need to be over 90 years old.
BO would like to be removed on any vote pertaining to Historical Society and
preservation Articles

Discussion: Article 30 has been removed from Warrant
AGENDA ITEM: C. Warrant Article votes
Discussion: Article 8 Vote Taken: Motion by RB to have FINCOM Vote favorable action
for Warrant Article 8, Seconded by TD.
Vote: Y, unanimous, passed.
Article 7 Vote Taken: Motion by AL to have FINCOM Vote favorable action
for Warrant Article 7, Seconded by BO.
Vote: Y, unanimous, passed.
Article 6 Vote Taken: Motion by TD to have FINCOM Vote favorable action
for Warrant Article 6 Seconded by RN.
Vote: Y3, N 3 A1 motion failed. No Recommendation
AL was looking to make a motion to have the stipend reduced to 3K per year.
MRees. Stated that this is playing politics and could create ill will for such a small
amount.
SG stated that the townspeople voted years ago for this stipend even though the town
was already in financial trouble.
Article 10 Vote Taken: Motion by RB to have FINCOM Vote favorable action
for Warrant Article 10, Seconded by AL.
Vote: Y, unanimous, passed.
Article 11 Vote Taken: Motion by TD to have FINCOM Vote favorable action
for Warrant Article 11, Seconded by RB.
Vote: Y, unanimous, passed.

AGENDA ITEM: D Budget Discussion
Discussion: MRees handed out updated compromised budget.
Discussion amongst FINCom members as to why the BCG and school Committee
accepted this proposed budget. Without discussion from fincom.
LB School Committee was under impression that BOS and Fincom had already
accepted this budget.
MR. Members of school committee at BCG meeting were supportive of this budget.
PB Feels BCG burnt fincom and that fincom did not have any input to this budget.

Vote Taken: Motion made by AL to have FINCOM vote favorable action on
BCG compromised budget Seconded by RB
Vote: Y 4 N 3 passed.
