HomeMy WebLinkAboutDecision - 7 WILD ROSE DRIVE 9/14/2006 my� CONSERVATION DEPARTMENT Community Development Division September 14, 2006 TILE CON Mr. Don Mosher 7 Wildrose Drive North Andover,MA 01845 7 WILDROSE DRIVE North Andover Construction of a Freestanding Deck Conservation Conditions of Approval,NACC #20 On September 7,2006 US Remodelers,Inc., (contractor) filed for a small project review (section 4.4(1) of the North Andover Wetland Regulations) on behalf of the homeowners of 7 Wildrose Drive,North Andover.The proposed work includes constructing a 12'x16' (192s.f) open, freestanding deck within the Buffer Zone to an adjacent Bordering Vegetated Wetland (BVW). The deck will be built on S sonotubes approximately 55' -from the wetland resource area,at its closest point, as shown on the attached sketch and detail sheet.All construction activities will be performed by hand. During the September 13,2006 public meeting,the North Andover Conservation Commission (NACC) voted unanimously (6-0) to issue a small projects approval for the construction of a free- standing deck at 7 Wildrose Drive,North Andover. This permit is being issued to the being issued the property owner,who is ultimately responsible for the actions and / or work performed at the above referenced property.As the property owner,you must ensure that all of the requirements outlined in these documents are adhered to. Failure to comply with the requirements outlined in this permit will result in future enforcement action. The following conditions are mandatory under this small projects permit. Conditions: 1. Since the proposed earthwork will be dug by hand,as well as the existing topography and distance to wetland resource area, erosion controls are not required. However, the NACC reserves the right to impose the use of erosion controls (hay bales & / or silt fence) if the site exhibits erosion, or any noticeable degradation of surface water quality discharging from the site.
