Small Project
NACC#49, 70 Wesley Street(Nye)(Sewer Tie-In)(ARCO Excavators, Inc.)
The applicant Raymond Nye was present. Mr. Lynch discussed an alternative and less expensive
route for the proposed sewer line. The new proposed route would extend up Adrian Street to
Saville Street which would require less piping to be installed. Mr. Napoli agreed and urged the
applicant to explore the Adrian Street alternative with his contractor and the Sewer Dept. A
motion to accept the filing as a small project under 4.4.2 D, sewer line installation, was made by
Mr. Lynch, seconded Ms. Feltovic. Unanimous. A motion was made by Mr. Lynch, seconded by
Ms. Feltovic to allow the sewer connection from Wesley Street with the following conditions:
1) The applicant rule out the feasibility of the alternative pump chamber location and connection
via Adrian Street
2) If the alternative is not feasible, the installation of a sewer connection will be allowed
according to the proposed plan
3)No work on the stone retaining wall will be allowed under the small project
Unanimous.
Note: The applicant has determined the alternative pump chamber location and sewer
connection route via Adrian Street is feasible. A permit from the NACC is not necessary for this
work. A permit will be necessary for removal of the stone wall.
