HomeMy WebLinkAboutDecision - 262 SOUTH BRADFORD STREET 8/9/2012 tkORTH 0 0 SS US CONSERVATION DEPARTMENT Community Development Division August 9,2012 Brian Marshall 262 South Bradford Street North Andover, MA 01845 262 South Bradford, North Andover Sewer System Connection Conservation Conditions of Approval, NACC #98 Pursuant to section 4.4.2 D of the North Andover Wetlands Protection Regulations,Brian Marshall, property owner,filed for a small project for work proposed at 262 South Bradford Street,North Andover. The work consists of abandoning an existing septic system per Board of Health regulations and connecting to Town of North Andover sewer service. The sewer line will be trenched from the existing Sewer Man Hole in the street along the Right Of Way approximately 200 feet, and will then be trenched along the north edge of the driveway approximately 350 feet where it will be connected to an ejector and 150 feet of gravity sewer. There will be two sections of gravity sewer,one from the main house and one from the guest house. Work is proposed within the buffer zone to Bordering Vegetated Wetland(BVW) associated with a pond which is located on the north side of the existing driveway. An existing culvert will need to be crossed and a sleeve is to be installed around the sewer line for 25 feet on either side of the culvert. Excavation will be approximately 2-feet from BVW at the closest point. During the August 8,2012 public meeting,the North Andover Conservation Commission(NACC) voted unanimously to approve this project as described above and in the documents referenced below. The following conditions were hereby mandated for the proposed work: RECORD DOCUMENTS: Plan titled"262 South Bradford Street,Proposed New Sewer Service' with the proposed sewer location drawn by hand in color. Erosion controls (to be approved by Conservation Department) shall be installed along the north side of the driveway and roadway as depicted on the above referenced plan. 2. Prior to the start of construction the applicant shall contact the Conservation Department for a pre-construction inspection of the erosion controls. 3. Accepted engineering and construction standards and procedures shall be followed in the completion of the project. 4. The sewer pipe shall be sleeved, extending 25 feet on either side of the culvert. 5. Excess material and construction debris shall be properly disposed of off site and all stockpile areas shall be located outside the 50-foot No-Build Zone. 6. All disturbed areas shall be loamed and seeded post construction. 7. Upon completion of the permitted work and stabilization of the disturbed areas, the applicant shall contact the North Andover Conservation Department for a post-construction inspection. Erosion controls will be removed with the approval of the Conservation Department. 8. This permit shall expire six months from the date of issue.
