Pursuant to section 4.4.2 D of the North Andover Wetlands Protection Regulations,Brian Marshall,
property owner, filed for a small project for work proposed at 262 South Bradford Street,North
Andover. The work consists of abandoning an existing septic system per Board of Health regulations
and connecting to Town of North Andover sewer service. The sewer line will be trenched from the
existing Sewer Man Hole in the street along the Right Of Way approximately 200 feet, and will then
be trenched along the north edge of the driveway approximately 350 feet where it will be connected
to an ejector and 150 feet of gravity sewer. There will be two sections of gravity sewer, one from the
main house and one from the guest house. Work is proposed within the buffer zone to Bordering
Vegetated Wetland(BVW) associated with a pond which is located on the north side of the existing
driveway. An existing culvert will need to be crossed and a sleeve is to be installed around the sewer
line for 25 feet on either side of the culvert. Excavation will be approximately 2-feet from BVW at the
closest point.
During the August 8,2012 public meeting, the North Andover Conservation Commission(NACC)
voted unanimously to approve this project as described above and in the documents referenced
below. The following conditions were hereby mandated for the proposed work:
