Sewer System Connection
Conservation Conditions of Approval, NACC #113
Pursuant to section 4.4.2 D of the North Andover Wetlands Protection Regulations,ARCO
Excavators,Inc.,contractor/representative for the property owner,filed for a small project for work
proposed at 124 Bridle Path,North Andover. The work consists of abandoning an existing septic
system per Board of Health regulations and connecting to Town of North Andover sewer service.
The sewer line will be trenched from the existing Sewer Man Hole in the street and will then be
trenched along the south edge of the driveway approximately 280 feet where it will be connected to a
pump chamber at the rear of the house. Work is proposed within the buffer zone to Bordering
Vegetated Wetland (BVW) located on both sides of the driveway and connected by an existing culvert
under the driveway. The sewer line is proposed to be insulated and will be installed above the
culvert. Excavation will be approximately 2-feet from BVW at the closest point.
During the July 10,2013 public meeting,the North Andover Conservation Commission (NACC)
voted unanimously to approve this project as described above and in the documents referenced
below.The following conditions were hereby mandated for the proposed work:

CONDITIONS:
1. Erosion controls (to be approved by Conservation Department) shall be installed along the
south side of the driveway.
2. Prior to the start of construction the applicant shall contact the Conservation Department for a
pre-construction inspection of the erosion controls.
3. Accepted engineering and construction standards and procedures shall be followed in the
completion of the project.
4. Excess material and construction debris shall be properly disposed of off site and all stockpile
areas shall be located outside the 50-foot No-Build Zone.
5. All disturbed areas shall be loamed and seeded post construction.
6. Upon completion of the permitted work and stabilization of the disturbed areas, the applicant
shall contact the North Andover Conservation Department for a post-construction inspection.
Erosion controls will be removed with the approval of the Conservation Department.
7. This permit shall expire six months from the date of issue
