Brecher Property:' 271 Stevens Street,North Andover Dear Chairman Manzi: The Applicant is requesting a further continuance of the Board's hearing in this matter, from the upcoming meeting date of December 13, 2016,to the Board's next regularly scheduled meeting of January 10, 2017. As you are aware,the property owner's, William Melvin's,mental competency has been the subject of a guardianship proceeding currently pending in the Essex Probate and Family Court. Although the Applicant is not a party to that action, I am informed that the Probate Court has just recently appointed a Temporary Conservator for Mr. Melvin. I expect to be in contact with the Conservator soon, to advise him of the status of this application and to coordinate the execution and submission an owner's authorization letter to the Board. I do not expect that this will be completed much in advance of the upcoming meeting date. Accordingly, the Applicant now requests the further continuance of the Board's hearing on his pending Application.
