Dear Chairman Manzi:
The Applicant is requesting a further continuance of the Board's hearing in this matter,from the
upcoming meeting date of January 10,2017,to the Board's next regularly scheduled meeting of
February 14,2017.
As you are aware,the property owner's, William Melvin's, competency has been the subject of a
guardianship proceeding in the Essex Probate and Family Court. The Probate Court has
appointed a Temporary Conservator for Mr. Melvin. I have been in contact with the Conservator
to advise him of the status of this application and am discussing the execution and submission of
an owner's authorization letter to the Board. Accordingly,the Applicant now requests the further
continuance of the Board's hearing on his pending Application to its regular February meeting.
I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused the Board,Town staff, or others interested in
this Application, and very much appreciate the Board's cooperation with this request. I am
position to proceed with the Application at the February 14t'
hopeful the Applicant will be in a
meeting.
I have enclosed a signed and completed time waiver continuation form.
