WORK SESSI~
The PLAI~NINa ]~OAR~ held a Work Session Meeting On Wednesday evening, August 19, 1979
at 7:30 P.M. in the Town Office Meeting Room. The following members were present and
voting: William Chepulis, Chairman; John J. MO~teiro, Vice~3hairman; Paul Hsdstr~n,
Clerk; and Michael P. Roberts.
Members received copies of minutes from March 26th to end of June.
"WOOD RIDGE" -~OODB~IIX~E": Ohepulis stated that the PLANN3~a BOARD can do alot as he
interprets the M.a.L. Ch. 8~, S. ~B. He read from this section. ~uet the fact that
they are using government funds denotes that it is open to the public. The firs~ step
is to write to the Archdiocese and ask them to submit the names of their proposed streets.
MAS~ER PLA~ STE~II~3 COM~ffE~: Susan asked foil direction from the BOARD as to how they
wanted the cosanittee set up. Members concurredlthat it should be made up of 15 persons
to include ~d. of Health; Selectmen; ~, Con. Com., Industrial Committee; ~uilding
~spector; Planner; ~oard of Appeals; Highway Surveyo~ with two from each precinct
occupations such as business, farming, industry, developer, realtor, and professional
person. Advertise for Committee members from the townspeople. Write letter to To~n
Depts. and reques~ them to appoint- a member to represent hem. Place notice on bulletin
alsO.
RU~ES & REGS. - Susan submitted to each member a copy of proposals and suggested that
they be compared with the existing regulations; 30 day time l~mlt. Take up at a work
session. Add any new terms being used to the D6finitions Section.
The meeting adjourned at 9:30 P.M.
