Meeting� it was unanimously agreed and voted to initiate action to estab-
lish a Conservation Fund. The Commission should insert an article in the
next Town 'Narrant, requesting a sum of money for conservation use to start
as a reserve for future needs,
5. TgM Forest: Mr. Lafond stated that plans and action have already been
started for the development of the Tomn Forest as a recreation area for
"passive" activities. Assisting in this development is the State Di' li
cion of Forests and Parks.
6. Toym Infirmary: The Study Committee Is report on the Town Inf irmary is
basically presented in three articles in the 1967 Toim t"Iarrant. Briefly,
these are:a. Retain land., barns and sheds for storage of town equipment*
b. Raze all structures and retain land (approx. 15 acres);
c. Sell'. the buildings and land*
The Commission is strongly in favor of a or b above and against C.
It was unanimously voted that the secretary write to the Board of 5elcc t-
men urging them to recommend -be the Tovm Meeting that the land. be retained

to be sent to the Advisory Board, Recreational Committee., Planning Board.,
