Subject: Minutes of meeting 19 Vay 1969.

8:05 I'm in the Planning Board office* No meeting was held on 7 May 1969.
2. Members Present: Idessrs. Roberts., Chepulis, Lewis., Iafond and Broadhead.
3- Members Absent: 'Mr., Lordan and Mrs. Kittredge,
4o Minutes: The secretary gave a verbal report of the minutes of the meeting
of 21 April 1969. Approval was withheld pending receipt of the written
minutes.
5. LAR Site: Mr. Chepulis is to contact fpr. George Haskin and Mr. Bruce
Gullion to determine the status of the PAR site transactions,
6. Cluster Zoning: Action was tabled for this meeting.
7. 110halleMe of the Land": Mr. Roberts announced that 10 copies of the book
were received. A copy was distributed to each commission member. He Is to
investigate the availability of the book in the library.
8. New Member: Mr. To Broadhead is the new member appointed by the Solectmeno
9. Special Town Neoting: The North Andover Tmprovement Society is willing to
donate the 31000 for the land taking for the fire station to the Town if
$1000 is appropriated by the June 2 special town meeting for the Conservation
Fund,
10. Hatch Act: Vr. Roberts reported that a Mr. Finocharo is filling in and
Tu'ilding, at the Merrimack River at the end of Main St. fie was advised to
follow the rules and regulations.
'rho DNR issued a cease and desist order to Mr. Kmiec on 6 April 1969*
11rs. Thompson of Appleton St, called Mro Roberts and reported that Mr. Giard
is filling in a brook with "Junk". Also., it was noted that a section of
Winter St. was being used as a dump, area. On motion by Mr. Chepulis seconded
by Mr. Broadheadj it was unanimously voted to notify the Board of Health of
the mentioned conditions before contacting the DNR.
Also$ it was noted that the banks of the Merrimack River were being filled
in adJacent to Shields' property on Sutton St. The owner of the land is to
be found and spoken to.
11. Rea.2ointments: Terms of appointments of members recently issued by the
Selectmen still require clarification. Further contact with the Selectmen
is necessary.

12. leir Hill.- Mr. Roberts is planning a meeting with the Trustees of
Reservations, Fire Wardens and Mrs. Rogers to discuss use of Weir Hill
and its fire protection,
13, estwood Conservation_pro Zram: Mr. Roberts received a copy of the Westo
wood Conservation Program. It is to be routed to each member for study
and information.
14, Committeess-. The Planning Committee is to meet at Mr. Robert's home on
bay 29 at 7:30 PM*
Program Committee: Mr. Roberts appointed Mr. Broadhead to the committee.
15. Adjournment: The meeting was adjourned at 9-.49 PM.
