Object: Minutes of meeting October 11, 19?2.
1.. Meeting called to order by Arthur Reece. at 8:51 FM in the "Free Wgrdens Office.
2, Members Present: Resca, Chepulis, Lafond, Lewis.
3. Members Absent: Mrs. Kittredge, Mrs. `lTrombly, frank Lordan.
4. Old Business: Parcels of land that were to be appraised are beim evaluated
by appraisers. Appraisal report to be discussed at Nov. 8, meeting.
j. New Business: Bill Chepulis mentioned that: the Planning Board was looking for
a member of the Conservation Commission to join the Watershed Study Committee.
G. Corrospondence received concerning the Hatch Act. hatch Act and Jones Act have
been combined into one comprehensive piece of legislation for the protection of
wetlands. Law became effective October 16, 1972 and the important change being
that the local authority; selectmen or conservation commission, will have legal.
authority to issue Orders of Conditions in the wetland areas ander their control..
7. Motion made and seconded to allow Hr. Thompson at the High School to spend up
to 120.00 on materials and supplies on town topographic model.
8. Motion made and seconded to pay bill for toll calls made by Arthur Reµsca in
the amount of 0.38.
