~owne meeting was called to order b~ the Chairing-_ at §515 P.M. in the
Building: . This was a special meetingt and also a Public Hearing.
Members presents Chairman, Peter Ritch~e, Secretary, R~chard G. Whipple,
Gregory M.ooradkanianp Edwin Reinhold and Lyman H. Kilton.
Au application was received from the S~tton Eill Co., ~nc., requesting the
preliw~_-~-y approval of plans for the extension of Neath Road for approxi-
mete]~T 4?5 feet from its intersection with ~utton Hill Road to Johnson
Street and the revocation o~ plans formerly approved By the ~oard of the
approval of Sutton Hill Road from its intersectAon with Neath Road to
Johnson Street as per plans submitted herewith.
Rotice of the Public Nearing was published in the Evening Tribune on the
evenings of February 3 and February 10, 1951 and all abutters were notified.
~r. Brasseur was present to explain the plans to the Board. Ne stated that
these new plans were an improvement over the plans formerly approved since
the old grade on Sutton Hill Road was about 9% and that the new grade on Heath
Road would be about 2%, that the new road would be 50 feet wide with a 50
foot radius at intersections.
Mr. Harry ~utton was present and stated that he would like to. see the sharp
corner out off but in all events he thought that this new plan was a decided
improvement over the previous one.
Mrs. Ramsdell was also present at this meeting and stated the she thpught
that this new plan was an i~provement over the old one.
After smae discussion the Board felt that they should view this location
in a body and a motion was made and seconded and it was unanimously VOTED
that this meeting be continued for one week to give the board a charge to
w~ke a trip to this location.
Motion was made and seconded and it was VOTED, to adjourn for one week.
