Meeting was called to order by the Chairman at 8:10 P.M. in the
Town Building.
Members present: Richard G. Whipple, Chairman~ Edwin Reinhold~
Secretary~ Gregory Mooradkanian, Nicholas Nicetta and William
Swithenbank Jre
There were no applications to be considered by t~e Board at this
meeting.
Routine business was condusted and a general discussion was held
by the members.
Motion was made and seconded and it was VOTED to adjourn at 9:15
P.M. The next regular meeting to be held on December 1~ 1952.

in the Evening Tribu~e on November' '22 ar,~d' November 29~ 1952.
Members present: Richard G. Whipple, Chairm~ Edwin Re~znhold,
Secretary~ Gregory Mooradkanian, Nicholas Nicetta and William
Swithenb~nk ~ Jr.
An ~p'plication was received from Henry E. Lund requesting the
approval bf the Board for a proposed amendment of the Zoni~
B~-~z~vs of the Town so as to permit a change of classification
of ~ parcelsof property~ Owned by Henry E. Lurid, from (1) General
Residential to Agricultural and (2) Restricted residential to
Agricultural. Plans were presented to the Board showing the lo-
cation and description of the above mentioned property and are
filed with the Board. The property in question is on Chickering Rd.
Mr. Lurid was ~resent and explained to the Board that he owned these
two parcels of land and that he would like to have them r e-zoned for
agricultural purposes to enable him to raise and sell shrubs and
other small, trees. He stated that he would like to build a small
greenhouse on the smaller piece of land where his plants and shrubs
could be on display. His intention is to build something that would
he attractive and would be an imrpovement over vacant l~ud and he
stated that he thought that it wotLld he an asset to Chickering Road.
There was no act;;~! opposition to this application except that Mrs.
J.M. Griffin of 141 Chickering Road stated that she owned about two
acres of land not far from this location and although she was not
cpposed to this type of business she did not like the idea of the
re-zoni..ug.
