The race.ting was called by ~he Chairman at 7~O0 P.M. in. the Town Building.
Members presentz Edwin W. Reinhold, Chairman~ Nicholas Nicetta~ Secretary,
Richard G. Whipple~ Howard G/lmau and Frank G. Driscoll Jr..
A discussion was held relative to poasible sites for /ndustrial development.
It was decided, to expo ~riment with one site and further developments would be
considered in accordance with the r~sults of this f~rst site. A motion was
made and seconded and it was ~oted to start ~ith a large tract of !a~d located
on the westerlY side of Osgood Street~ from Clark Street to the. Haverhill line.
An open letter to the townspeople was drawn up by the Chain-man and read to the
Board. A questio~_re was also drawn up to be sent to each property, owner of.
~/zis area to see if they were willing to sell. A motion was made and seconded
that the open letter be published in the Tribune on the night of June 5, 1953
and letters be sent to the thirteem owners concerned. The expense of this
publicatio~ to be borne by the Planning Board.
The matter of printing new Zoning By-Law booklets which had been postponed at
the last meeting was discussed. Motionwas .made and~ seconded that the Bee
Publishing Compa~ be given the work on their Iow bid of $79.50 far 500 copies.
Motion was made and seconded that there would be no meetings held during the
S,,mmer months except at the call of the chairman to take care ef as~ matters
that might come up during these months.

The meeting was called to order by the Chairm~ at 7~00 P.M. in the Selectmen, s
Office. This was a special meeting to which the members of tB~ Ir~ustrial
Planning Board had been invited. This meeti~-was special~'~'~alled to discuss
the possibility of re-zoning a parcel of land on the westerlY side of Osgood
Street from an Agricultural to an Industrial District.

present John J. Willis and Ralph Brasseur.
Mr. Reinhold explained to the meeting that the Board ha~ been called ~pon to
hold a Public Hearing with all parties concerned te permit a change of classi-
fication of a parcel of land cf about 160 acres en the westerlY side of Osgood
Street begim~ing 250 feet South of the Haverhill I/ne. He stated that there was
a possibility that if this could be accomplished there wo~ld be a nationallY
