The meeting was called to order by the Chairman. at 7:30 p.m. in the
Town Building.
Nembers present: Nicholas F. Nicetta, Chairman, Howard Gilman,
Secretary, Ralph Finck and Frank Driscoll, Jr.
A letter was read by the Chairman from Davis and Furber concerning
the making of a street extending Davis Street across Pleasant St.
to East Water St. Plans were also included. Davis & Furber wants
to know the Planning Board's specificatlons in order that this
arrest will b~ accepted by the Town. Mr. Nioetta will find out the
specifications from the 'Water Dept. and talk to Mr. Rockwell himself
about the street. Mr. Brassemr explained further on the street plan.
~M. Frank Sparks, representing The New England Mobilehome Association
appeared before the Board for information about the regulations of
this town regarding mobile homes. Mr.Norman Ellis of ?~brcester was
supoosed to have come with him, but never showed up. Mr. Sparks was
told that a special article was inserted in the By-Laws by a special
town meeting concerning trailer parks. They ~ay be located in sn
Agricultural zone, must have 450 sq. ft on the first floor and it
would have to go before the Board of Appeals.
Th~ Board then went on to discus~ further the matter of the P~ning
Consultants.
Mr. Gllman made a motion to engage Mr. John Blackv:ell, with the pro-
vision that we get the appropriation from the specia~ town meeting.
Seconded by Mr. ~inck, the motion was passed by a unanimous vote.
A letter will be sent to Mr. Blackwell notifying him of the above
and asking him to m~.et with the Planning Boa.rd on Monday evening,
Sept. 20th if convenient for him.
The meeting adjourned at 9:15 P.M.
