Daniel Steel - interested in development 6f land on Mass. Ave. and Chickering Road. Hugh Clark Associates - Bixby & Northrup of Winchester and Hugh Clark also of Winchester. 2 hr. March 28, The meeting was called to order by the chairman at 7:30 p.m. Mem ers present were Nicholas F. Nicetta, Howard Gilman, Ralph Finck, John OSgood, and James Barman. Mr. Lawrence Daley appeared before the Board with regard to land he has purchased on Hemlock Street, and the chairr~n informed him his problem was one for Mr. Duffy of the Board of Public Wor~s. Nr. & Mrs. Daniel Hogan and their attorney, Mr. Richard Simmers, representing Lawrence Processing, appeared before th~ Board re- questing information as to procedure for application for rezoning a lot of lmud on Clark St. The 6nairman furnished them~the nec- essary inforr~tion ~xi~iaining they should write a letter of ~pplica- tion to the Ooard. Mr. John Lynch, represecting a group of petitioners~ submitted a petition for the rezoning of an area of land on Main Street extending to Maple AvenUe from Restr~_cted Residential~to Educational. On motion of Mr. Barman, seconded by Mr. Finck, the Board uananimously voted to hold a public hearing on this petition on Monday, April 25th at 8:00 p. ~; John Blackwell met with the Board to discuss the ~ollowing matters; Increase of lot sizes. Mr. Blackwell recommended increase of lot sizes of 125' frontage arid 2~0' deep (30~O00' l~t). He also said that possible there could 0e two different lot s'izes smaller in the more thickly settled ~r~a and larger as one goes towards the country (possible boundaries: NWline of Andover St., Chickering Road, Osgood Street, Clark Street to the river.) Mr. Blackwell also stated he felt a provision should be made com~ell ng the comb- ination of small lots~ already of record and adjoined by land able to be combined and belongmg to the same owner, to fulfill the zoning lot requirements. This would ~p~ly only to lot plans of record.
