Meeting was ~lled to order by the chairman at 7:30 p.m. Members present
were Messrs. Nicetta, Finck, Gilman Osgood, and Barman.
Mr. Carmelo Marino appeared with a plan of his land and was informed by
the chairman that his problem was one for the Selectm~u.
Mr. S. Stefansky and Mr. Chas. Cyr appeared with regard to land owned by
Stefansky on Great Pond Road. They were seeking information as to the size
of house lots now required under the amench~ent to the Zoning By Laws. Mr.
Nicetta explained the details on this to the gentlemen.
A Public Hearing~as held on the application of Sherwood Homes requesting
approval of plans for subdivision. Mr. John Shields, president of Sher-
wood Homes, Inc. said he felt enough ~ad been said in hi.~ letter of applica-
tion and the plans were sufficient.
Mr. & Mrs. Robert Burke, present owners of the land in question appeared in
favor of this petiti~u.
There was no opposition to this petition registered.
On motion of Mr. Gilmmn, seconded by Mr. Osgood the Board voted to take the
mattsr under advisement.
On motion of Mr. Gilman, seconded by Mr. Bannau, the Board unanimously voted
to hold Pubic Hearings on the £ollowing petitions of the Colgate Construction
Co.:
1. for land located on Mass. Ave.
2. for land located on Chickering Rd.
Hearing date was set for May 16, 1955.
The meeting adjourned at 10:OO p.m.

The meeting was call~dd to order by the chairman at 7:30 p.m. Members present
were Messrs. Nicetta, Gilman, Finck, and Osgood.
At 8:00 p.m. a Public Hearing was held on petition of the Colgate Construction Co.
~lth regard to land locate~on Mass. Ave. After the secretary read the notice of
hearing, Mr. Joseph Selwin, 14 Linden Avenue, Belmont, Mass., engineer for the pet-
itioners stated he had prepared the plans in question. He stated the land is to be
divided into 43 lots necessitating three streets. He said two of the streets have
already beenput in and work entailed will only be extending them. There will be
a new street which will be called Colgate Road. There will be no dead ends Mr.
Selwin informed the Board. He said the plans were prepared with the advice and crit-
icisms of the town officials. He said the land will be properly drained with correct
number of catch basins and manho~s. It will be sewered by connecting in the
