Colgate Construction Co., hearing date was May 16, 1955 (2 hearings)
On motion of Mr. Barman, seconded by Mr. Osgood,~the Board
unanimously voted to disapprove the above-referenced
companies definitve plans for the following .reason:
...the definitive plaA~s presented did not com~ly with
the minimum lot size requirement of the Zoning By-Laws...
On the matter brought before the Board by Atty. John Willis with regard to
land on Saunders St. and the request that Mr. Willis's client be allowed
to give 10' of the land to the abutter~ ~heiBoard directed the clerk to~
send Mr. Willis a letter stating this would not be possible as it would
comply with the subdivision control law with regard to conformity with
required lot sizes.
The meeting adjourned at ll:OO p.m. ·

The meeting was called to order by tb~ chairman at 7:30 p.m. Members
present were Messrs. Nicetba~ Gilman, Finck, and Bannan.
Mr. Laurence Stahley czme in with plans requesting approval of t?~ Board.
The Board informed ~. Stahley that the land did not conform with the
amendment to the Zoning By-Laws.
At this meeting the Board voted to meet with the School Building Committee
and Mr. Blackwell to discuss mutual problems with regard to To~ planning.
Decisions: Louis F. Breen on which public hearing was held June 6, 1955.
On motion of Mr.B~nnan, seconded by Mr. Finck ~that the
petition be approved, Mr. Bannan and Mr. Finck.voted
for approval and Mr. Nicetta and Mr. G~man voted for
denial.
Mr. Bannan then moved the Board reconsider the previous
motion. This was seconded by Mr. Gilman. Mr. Nicetta,
Mr. Gilman and Mr. Bannan voted in favor of this motion
and Mr. Finck voted against the motion.
Mr. Finck then moved the petition be approved. The
motion was seconded by Mr. Bannan. Mr. Finck voted
in favor of the motion. Mr. Nicetta, Mr. Gilman and
Mr. Bannan voted against the motion. Therefore the
petiti~n was disapproved and the fellowing reason
