The meeting was c$11ed to order at ~:30 P. M. by the Ohairman. Members present~
Nicholas Nicetta, Ohairman~ John Osgood, Secretary, James Barman.
Mrs. Rennie, acco~mied by Mrs. O~Leary appeared before the Bear~, and stated that
their abbuttor, Fart by name,has been recomnended to be zoned for business by this
Board. Mrs. Rennie stated, being adjacent to the Farr property, she would also
her land to be also zoned for business. The Board pointed out to her the tax rate
would increase considerably~, if it was zoned as she wishe~. Mrs. Re~e stated that
before she took any action,she wo~ld give the matter some thought.
Secretary Osgood read the minutes of February 23, 1956 concerning Wtll~,m B. Kent.
Letters were also read ~ the Board of Public Works conceruimg the Sutton Hill CoX,
Inc. These letters were filed in the Sutton ~11 Folder.
The Board made the follewAug _r~ ~rks concerning the Driscotl Heir land on theirm
rec_~m~_ endation to ge before the Advisory Board.
From evidence at the Public Heariugs. Thei= were no proponents. The Planning ~
recommends ~nfavorable action on the petition of Joh,, D. Driscell and others for re-
classification of land at Turnpike and Peters Street fram General Residential to Business
for the following reasons:. Fram evidence submitted lmAat the Public Nearing it appeared
,mlikely that m~_?_ketahle title to the property for commercial purpose~would he ~w~lable.
