Secretary Osgood read a letter from N~s. Rogers who wishes the area between the
Railroad tract, Stevens, Osgood and Prescott Streets and Chi~er~,,g Roa~1 be ~
Rural.
A letter was read from Reverend Vincent NcQuade, O.$. A., Sresident of Nerr~--ek
CoLlege concerning the laud owned by William B. Kent. Mr. Blackwell presented the
Board a letter he had wri~tmm answer~uZ Reverend McQuades inqutr&es. The Boar~ was
in agreement that a copy ef Mr. Blaekwell's correspondence be sent to Reverend MeQuade.
Mr. Blackwell presented the Board with a letter concerning C~lets Steak Houae t~ be
used at the Special To~n Mset~. The BoarA was in i~11 agreemeat it should be used.
Ar. Blackwell made a co~ction in his notes regard_i~ the Fart land.
~he recomaendations were fully discussed to be used at the Special Town l~eet~-~, Mr.
Osgood moved that the recommendations he adopted, Mr. Finck seconded the m~tion on tbs
Burke petition. Mr. B_----~ was in favor of reclassification. On the Article of Burke's
"~ majority of those voting" w~ be written in the Article.
There was discussion of the procedure of the Public Hearing scheduled for June 20.
Mr. Chairman showed a letter eoncering Note~s. ·
The meeting adjourned at 9~30 P. M.

The last of the Public Hearings sponsored by the Planning Board was held Wednesday,
June 20, 1956 in Veterans Memorial Auditorium of the ~ School. The purpose of the
meet~ was to discuss the Proposed Revision of the new By-Law.

Mr. John T. Blaekwell, professional plea-er hire~ by t.be Board was also present.
