The minutes of October 1, were read by the Secretary. Mr. Bannan moved that the
minutes be accepted as read and corrected. Mr. Finck secended this motion. It
was uantmously carried.
The minutes of October 15 were read. ~Mr. Finck moved that they be accepted as
corrected, Mr. Osgood seconded this motion. It was unanimous.
Mr. Blackwell suggested that a letter be written to the Mr. Maker, Town Treasurer.
The letter read as follows: "We respectfully request that you carry over untdl next
sear all unexpended balances appropriated under Article 3, and Article 4 of the Special
Town. Meeting on June 30, 1956."
The minutes o£ 0c~ober 22 were read. Mr. Barman made a motion that they be accepted
as read and corrected. Mr. Gilman seconded this motion. It was ~na~mous.
The minutes of November 5 were read by the Secretary. Mr. Bannan made a motion that
they be accepted, seconded by Mr. Gilmau. It was unanimously carried.
The minutes of November 15 w~re read also. Mr. Barman made a motion to accept them
as read and corrected, Mr. Gilman seconded the motion. It was unanimously voted.
The minutes of November 19 w~re read by the Secretary. Mr. Bannan made a motion,
seconded by ~[r. Gilman that they be accepted as read and corrected. It was unanimous.
A letter was reviewed from G. Hudson Driver concerning sizes of plans submitted to
the Registry of Deeds. Motion was made and seconded that the plans meet the require-
ment of the local Registry. It was then discussed that no action would be taken on
the literature except as a matter of instruction to the petitioner.
Mr. Finck moved that the meeting be adjourned, Mr. Barman seconded this motion, It
was unanimous.
Meeting adjourned at 10:00 p. m.
December 19, 1956 - Spec. Mtg.
The meeting was called to order at 7:45 p. m. Members present: Nicholas Nicetta,
Chairman, John Osgood, Secretary, Ralph Findk, James Bannan and Howard Gilman.
Mr. Osgood moved that the Chai~r~an sign the contract with the Massachusetts Department
of Com~.~erce in connection with Federal Flanning Assistance under Chapter 23A. Mr.
Bannan seconded the motion.
Mr. Finck read the contract and stated that $4,000 w6~ld be used to cover all expenses
for North Andover for one year. Aerial photographs will include 20% of the local
streets which will be identified, p~us all county and state roads ~o be identified
on the map. In the second year, the planner identifies the other 80%.
Mr. Bannan made a motion to authorize the Chairman of the North Andover Planning
Board, Mr. Nicholas F. Nicetta, be authorized to sign the agreement between the
· assachusetts Department of Commerce and the North Andover Planning Boardwithregard
