The meeting was called to order at 7:~O p.m. MemberS present were:
Nichelas F. Nicetta, Ch~wman; John B. Osgood, Secretary; Hovr~-~l Gilman and
James Mo
1~. Joseph Filetti appeared before the Board with a petitio~ and a plot
plan ~f a proposed motel located on Chickering Road.
~he Ch~_t~man informed Mr. Filetti and Engineer Eric Brainerd that' the plan
presented did not show the water outlet of the area in question. Mr. Gilman
suggested to Mr. Filetti if an easement should be needed, he should secure one
to avoid any future comDlaints.
Fire Chief Da~ was consulted by the Board as to fire restrictions. Mr. Daw
stated that he did not recommend a fire extinguisher in ea~ unit, but that a
firew~ll was needed and a booster line.

Mr. Bannan made a motion, and it was unanimously carried by the Board that a
site plan of the proposed motel be taken by the Board, ~nd a he~ date set,
also other restrictions.
Mr. Lloyd of the Sutton Hill Development came before the Board for the pur-
pose-of finaing the form of bond the Planning Board will accept. A copy of the
Lantern Corp. bond was secured from the Board of Selectmen for r~erenee in
this matter.
The Secretary read a letter concerning the Sutton Hill Development from
the Board of Public Works.
Bc~d was' set for the Sutton Hill Development for $22,000.
Mr. ~1_, Preside~tl John I~, ~; of the S~ourban Household
Eatorprises, Inc. came before ~he Bo~. They were aecompenied by D. J. Bassett,
Engineer. The above corporation proposes to build in the wtet~ty of 6 er ?
residences e~f Andover S~reet at an estimated eest of $25,000 to $30,000 per
~ae Board 1~eormed Mr. Lynch, who was spokesm~m, that the travelwa~ should be
as wide as possible allowin__g 5t for a sidewalk and curb and a 30' travelway. It
was also suggested by the Board to cut the corner of Lot #% ami a small pertisu of
lot ~6. The sidewalk issue was discussed aud Mr. Barman and Mr. Gt~m~- did no~
$2~mk ene was required in this particular petition. Catch-basins were also
suggested by the Board. Fire Chief Dm~ suggested that another h~iraz~ be needed.
Mr. Lynch was requested to bring in a definitive plan to the Board of the
propoeed development.
Mr. Da~ stated, concerning the S~tton Hill Development, that a hydrant w~s
rec.~.ended and Mr. Duffy and he have conferred c~ the issue which is taken oare of.
Mr. Nioetta stamped the plan of F~ness O. Goodhue, which does not require
the approval of the Planning Board,
Mr. ~ Pimneran submitted plans for a proposed post-office and business
buila~ng o~ w~t, Street which was approved and signed by the Board of
