The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting on Tuesday evening, September 12, 1995
upon the application of Lisa Ford requesting a Variance under Section 7, Paragraph 7.3
and Table 2 of the Zoning Bylaw so as to permit relief from the front setback requirement
of 30 feet for an existing house. The applicant was granted a Special Permit by the Zoning
Board of Appeals to add a screened porch onto a legal non-conforming structure on
August 8, 1995.
The following members were present and voting: William Sullivan,Raymond Vivenzio,
Walter Soule, Joseph Faris, and Ellen McIntyre .
The hearing was advertised in the North Andover Citizen on 8.23.95 and 8.30.95 and all
abutters were notified by regular mail.
Upon a motion by Raymond Vivenzio and seconded by Joseph Faris,the Board voted
unanimously to GRANT relief of 14.26 feet from the front setback requirement of 30 feet.
Voting in favor: William Sullivan, Raymond Vivenzio, Walter Soule, Joseph Faris, and
Ellen McIntyre.
The Board finds that the petitioner has satisfied the provisions of Section 10,Paragraph
10.4 of the Zoning Bylaw and that the granting of this variance will not adversely affect
the neighborhood or derogate from the intent and purpose of the Zoning Bylaw.

Premises affected 90 Abbott Street
Referring to the above petition for a variation from the requirements
of Section 7, para. 7.3 and table 2 of the Zoning Bylaw so as to permit relief
of 9.70 feet from the front setback requirement of 30 feet. The applicant
is also seeking a Special Permit under Section 9, para. 9.2 so as to add
onto a legal non-conforming structure for puposes of replacing a deck
and adding a screened porch,.
This decision will only, address the request for a special permit. The
applicant will refile a request for a variance so that corrections could
be made on the plans
After a public hearing given on the above date, the Board of Appeals
voted to Grant the Special Permit only and hereby
authorize the Building Inspector to issue a permit to:

The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting on Tuesday evening, August 8, 1995 upon
the application of Lisa Ford requesting a variation under Section 7, paragraph 7.3 and
table 2 of the Zoning Bylaw so as to permit relief of 9.70 feet from the front setback
requirement of 30. The applicant is also seeking a Special Permit under Section 9, para.
9.2 so as to add onto a legal non-conforming structure for purposes of replacing a deck
and adding a screened porch
Upon review of the plans, it was observed that the applicant needed a greater relief from
the front setback requirement than what was advertised. This decision will reflect the
request for a Special Permit Only and the applicant will be required to refile her request
for a variance.
The following members were present and voting: William Sullivan, Scott Karpinski,
Joseph Faris, John Pallone and Ellen McIntyre.
The hearing was advertised in the North Andover Citizen on 7.19.95 and 7.26.95 and all
abutters were notified by regular mail.
Upon a motion by Joseph Faris and seconded by John Pallone,the Board voted
unanimously to GRANT the Special Permit only. Voting in favor: William Sullivan, John
Pallone, Joseph Faris, Scott Karpinski and Ellen McIntyre
