Regular ~eetiag
The regular monthly meeting of the Planning Board was held on Monday, January
at 7:30 PM at the Tow~ Office Building. Members present and vott~ were-'
Bannsu, 0hairman, Nicholas F. Nioetta and George B. Farley.
Hr. Banyan appointed Hr. Nicetta to not as Secretary for the meetta~ as Mr. Burke was
absent.
, A Public Hear~ was held at 8:00 PM oa the petition of the F~Eay Construction Co., Inc.
+~ sub-divide the following parcel of land: Bounded Northerly by Winter Street West
554 feet; Easterly by D~le Street 1926 feet Southwesterly by land of Smelak
l~ad of Zahoruiko 1180 feet; Southerly by land of Zahoruiko, 646 feet; Westerly,
Northerly, Northwesterly and again Westerly by land of Antonewicz 893 feet. Northerly
and Northwesterly by Mi~e, ~eOubbin, Hancock and Rea 1032 feet.
~eorge Hayes, Engineer for MeXay Construction 0o., Inc. SAd~ey ~ea, Robert 6arrit? and
G1~ l/oKay appeared for the petitioner. Mr. Hayes explained they would like to
sub-divide the land into 26 house lots.
A discussion was held om the t~pe street to be built. Mr. MeKay said he plan~ed to build
the street of at least one foot of gravel and two o~a of o~1.
Mr. Hayes explained the drainage layout of the development and the grades of the propooe~
street which will be called Gle~ncrest Drive.
Hr. Ba~an asked ~f the corners c~ both streets could be cut and l~r. McEay said they
could be but as a rule he grassed the lots out to the street so there would be ~o
visibility proble~
Hr. Zahouriko, an ablmtter,' asked what type house would be built amd Mr. ~Xay said
the houses would range from $25,000 to $35,0OO and if any lots were sold a price
restriction on the house would Be put on the deed.
The Board told Mr. MeKay he should get in touch with the Board of Public Works immediately
regarding water ia order to have a~ article inserted in the warrant.
Hr. Bsuna~ explained the work required by the Board could be done under a Bead or a
eoveuaat to be drawn up by To~n Counsel Salisbury.
Hr. Nicetta moved the petition be taken under advisement. Mr. Farley seconded the
~otiom. U~-~ous vote.

Mr. Banna~ breeght up the fact the Board should insert some articles ia the warrant
b~t that he felt the entire Board should be present to discuss these articles. Mr.
Nicette and Hr. Farley agreed on this.

Mr. ~ic®%ta moved the meeting adjourn at 9:15 P~. Mr. Farley seconded the
motioa. U~animous vote.
