The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting on Tuesday evening, January 13, 1998, upon the
application of Century 21-Premier Properties, 522 Chickering Rd. North Andover, MA'requesting a
Special Permit under Section 7, paragraph 6.6 D (2),for aground sign exceeding the maximum height
and size requirement of the Zoning Bylaws.
The following members were present: Walter F. Soule, Raymond Vivenzio, John Pallone, and
Ellen McIntyre,
The hearing was advertised in the Lawrence Tribune on 9/30/97 & 10/6/97, and all abutters were notified
by regular mail.
Upon a motion made by John Pallone, and seconded by Ellen McIntyre, the Board voted to allow the
applicant to withdraw the petition without prejudice. Voting in favor: Walter F. Soule, Ellen
McIntyre, and John Pallone, abstained from voting: Raymond Vivenzio.

There are four (4 ) businesses in the existing building which mum
advertise on this highly developed commercial strip of roadway The
specific site is an appropriate location for such a sign It will not
adversely affect the neigUborhood nor be a nuisance or hazard to
vehicles or pedestrian and is in harmony with the zoning B-Laws .
