Regular Meeting
The Planning Board held their regular meeting on Monday, October 2, 1961
at ?:30 P.M. at the Town Office BuS,ding. Members present and voting were:
~_~_me_s M. Barman, Cb_~_t~rman; Robert J. Burke, Secretary; Howard Gilman, George
Farley and William Chepulis.
Atty. Ford presented a plan from Merrimack College which Mr. Barman
signed with the special stamp not requiring the approval of the Planning Board.
Mr. Bar~- read a letter from the Mass. Dept. of Commerce regarding a
Planning Board Seminar in Worcester.
Secretary Burke read a letter from Interstate Route 495 Association
regarding a meeting on October 4th at Marlborough.

Notices of hearings were received from the Board of Appeals.
Mr. & Mrs. Cahoon, 240 Andover St., had a discussion with the Board
regarding the drainage of a house being built abutting their property
and the drainage of the roadway. They were informed that this Board has no
jurisdiction but that any action would have to be taken by the individual.
Mr. Chepulis read a letter regarding Urban Renewal developments. A
short discussion was held by the Board.
Mr. Norman Scott, 51 Adams Ave., spoke with the Board regarding the
requirements of building catch b~sins. After a short discussion, the Board
referred him to the Board of Public Works.
At 9:00 P.M., Mr. Gilman made a motion to adjourn the meeting. This
was seconded by Mr. Farley and voted unanimously.
