As outlined in die attached drawings we would like to extend a portion of the deck 4' toward die real-of the property. The redesigned deck would have, a new set of stairs to a landing platform then one more step to grade. The new stairs would intersect tike existing chain link fence around the existing in-ground pool. This would allow the residents to put a gate across the strap going toward the pool, while stili allowing Ihcir children access to their swing-set.on the other side of the fence. I have included a site plan with wedand boundaries as they were staked out by Seekan-ip Environmental Consultants on May 6, 2015. The new clock extension would require two new 12" sono tube footings and (our 8" that would be located outside the 50' no build zone. The new stairs would require two 4-6"'x10"footings that would also be outside lice 50' no build zone. The deck is approximately 5' above finished gi ade. The new deck quid stair design would greatly improve the safety of the residents' yard while still allowing Idle access to their play area.
