Construction of a deck and stairs on sono-tube supports
Conservation Conditions of Approval,NACC ##146
Pursuant to section 4.4.2 (A) of the North Andover Wetlands Protection Regulations, Sylvia
Zawadzld, owner, filed for a small pj:oject for work proposed at 209 Vest Way, North Andover. The
proposed work includes the construction of a 1.2' x 18' deck with a 4' x 18' staircase (-288 s.f. total)
on sono--tube supports. The proposed deck is .approximately 65 feet from the edge of Bordering
Vegetated Wetland (13VW) as shown on the herein referenced plan.
During the May 27, 2015 public tweeting, the NACC voted unanimously to approve this project.All
work shall conform to the following:

The following conditions are hereby, mandated:
CONDITIONS-
1.
ONDITIONS:1. Prior to the start of construction the site contractor shall review the small project permit and be
aware of the wetland resource area and the limits of the proposed work.
2. Prior to the start of construction a silt sock (or other erosion controls as approved by the.
Conservation Department) shall be placed along the existing fence between the work area and
the wetlands and the Conservation Department shall be contacted for a pre-consttuction site
inspection.

3. Excess construction material shall be properly disposed of offsite and accepted engineering and
construction standards and procedures shall be followed in the completion of the project.
4. Upon completion of the approved project and site stabilization, please contact the Conservation
Department for a final inspection.
5. This permit shall expire six months from the date of issuance.

construction is limited to less than 50 square feet,and where no permanent soil alterations are

❑ A pre-construction/pre-approval meeting was held on site between the applicant and a representative of
the Conservation Commission. Date of Meeting:
❑ The delineated resource area boundaries have been confirmed by the Conservation Department as
accurate.
Plan Re uirentents Section 4.4.3 B):
Certified and/or professionally prepared plans are not required. However,the North Andover Conservation
Commission or its designated agent shall have the final authority to determine whether the submitted
plans/drawings are adequate and include all pertinent it for review.
At a minimum,all plans submitted shall clearly and accurately show the present conditions and proposed
work and depict the location of all wetland resource areas within 100' of the proposed work. All plans must
be signed and dated by the person who prepared thein.
The Commission ma also require the following information on the proposed plans in addition to the
aforementioned criteria where applicable:
❑ Location of arty subsurface sewage disposal systems.
❑ Locations of any drainage structures.
❑ Locations of any easements,including but not limited to, drainage and utility easements.
❑ Locations of any open space boundaries if(e.g, if the lot is affected by the 50' open space boundary as
required in a Planned Residential Development(PRD)).
❑ Location and nature of all proposed alterations to the Buffer Zo e Resource Area.
