The PI~ Board held their regular ~eeting on Monday evening, M~__r~h 7, 1966
at 7.'30 P.M. in the Town B~lding. The following m~mhers were present and voting=
James M. Barman, Chair,~ ~bert J. Burke, ~ ~ Gilman, George Farley
~r. Ohepulis read the legal notice coacerning an --,~-~nt to the Zoning By-Laws
to proviae for ~,.u~icipal buildings in any z~-~-g area.
Mr. Burke th~-~- it should c~ae ~nder the Appeals Board or sc~e other provision
be ~ade.
Atty. Joha J. Mi]lis, Fire Chief James Daw and Assessor Edward Fhelan were present.
Atty. Willis said he wes opposed, he said it leaves alot of loose ends and recc~meads
that the aw~_~w~ut be e~-~-ted - leave the law the way it is. Be said they can
get the la~d zoned after the site is chosen.
Mr. Burke made a tactics to disapprove the amendment to the By-Laws. Mr. Gilman
seconded the motion and the vote was ~4-~us. The Board thinks the a~ndment is
too wide and indefinite.
The Boa~l then proceeded to discuss the hearings held on February 28th and voted as

3. Turnpike Street - Eagle-Tribu~e.
Mr. Burke ~ade a motion to recommend approval of the r~-zo-~g.
seconded the motion and the vote was

Mr. Barman explained that at Tows Maeting a motion will Be made that the sewer
article be taken ~ first. If that article doesntt pass, then the re-zoning
article will be withdrawn.

seconded the motion - unanimous vote.

b. Section Z. 43 - Mr. Gilman made a motion to recon~end approval. Mr. Burke
seconded the motion - unenvious vote.
c. Section 6.61 - Mr. Burke made a motion to recommend disapproval. Mr.
Gilman seconded the motion - ~-tm~s vote.
d. Section 3.8~ - To be designated Industrial #I~.
e. Section 3.85 - To be designated Industrial "L~.
f. Special Permit- Golf Course - Mr. Burke made a motion to reco~aend
approval, Mr. G~?m~ seconded the motion - unanimous vote.
,SUB-DIVISION: ,01d Nor%h Andover Realt~ Trust
The members held a len~l~ discussion re~ardin~ this sub-4/~ision for which a
hearing was held on Februal~ 7, 1966. The Board was particularly concerned about
there being a 700 ft. turnaround and the rema~-~8 back land not being shown as
part of the ~mb-division. They should either have the required 500~ turnaround
or provide for a through street.
Mr. Chepulis made a motion to disapprove the Sub-division. Mr. Farley seeonded
the motion and the vote was unanimous.

The Board will hold a special .meeting on Saturday, March 19th at the High School
at 1~00 P.M. This will be an organizational meeting.
