Special Meeting
The Planning Board he~8 a special meeting on Monday eve-~-~, May 9, 1966, at
8:00 P.M. in the Town Building. The following members were present and voting~
WtlltR~ Chepulis, Jr., Chairm~; Robert J. Burke, Vice Chairm~; Howard
Secretary; George B. Farley and JAW's M. Barman.
The Board signed plans for areas that were re-zoned as Town Meeting. It was
necessary to wait ~mtil all re-zoning had been approved by the Attorney General
and the Town Clerk was notified.
The Board discussed the hearing that had been held on May 2 for a subdivision
for Arthur Collins Realty. Mr. O'Sullivan, an abutter, was present again because
he was concerned about Sessions Way as shown on the plans and says he would prefer
it to be abandoned.
Mr. Gilman said it isn't wide enough to be used - if it is abandoned, the roadway
is divided so that each immediate abutter would get to the center of the road - the
roadway is divided half-way.
Mr. Nicetta was present and recommended to the Board that ~hey require the developers
to put up the street signs.
Mr. G~-~ made a motion to accept the plans of the Collins subdivision with the
usual restrictions. Mr. Burke seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous.
One of the restrictions is that the turnaround on Ferncroft Circle be at the
eastern boundary line of the subdivision.
BenJ~m~u 0sgoed was present but he didn't have the linen copy of his plans.
Mr. Bannan made a motion tc take up Osgood's plans at the next regular meeting
because of not enough information. Mr. G~l~ seconded the motion and the vote
waS unanimous.
The Board again discussed the Segadelli plans, for a subdivision off Chestnut St.
A letter was received from Dave Roche notifying the Board of an easement being
shown on his subdiVisiOn , which the Board okayed.
