Regular Meeting
The BOARD OF APPEALS held their regular meeting on Monday evening, January 11,
1971 at 7:30 P.M. with the following members present and voting: Arthur R. D~mmond,
Chairman; Donald J. Scott, Philip Arse-~,,lt, Esq. and Dr. Eugene Beliveau. Mrs.
Anna Donahue, clerk~ was ill and unable to attend the meeting.
There were no hearings scheduled.
GEORGE H. FARR -Earth Removal Permit:
Mr. George Farr appeared before the Board at 8:0OP.M. relative to the
renewal of his earth removal permit. A letter was received from the Buildlng
Inspector reporting on whether or not the conditions of the permit had been met.
The letter stated that the roadway has not been constr~cted; there is considerable
water in the excavation and that condition~8 should be clarified before more
excavating is done.
During discussion with Mr. Farr it was brought out that he had sold 150 loads
to the town of North Andover, which is not allowed under the conditions. The
Board feels that a new hearing maybe necessary. No action was taken on the
renewal of the permit.
