8. The two old Garage doors will be moved and installed to a new
location at 25 Rugby Road in Mattapan, building also owned by Debra
Simon.
9. Decorative gravel at the end of drive way will be removed and entire
area will be bindered and finished with pavement.
10. Driveway will be refinished or seal coated so that a smooth
appearance is achieved.
11. A new drain for driveway water run will be installed.
Proposed Work: First Floor Level of House
1. Remove old decking and construct new deck per new dimensions
using trek decking with color specified by owner and white vinyl railing
and spindles.
2. Cut a new opening into house and install a new 3-foot wide French
door leading from kitchen to new deck area.
CONDITIONS OF PROJECT
CONTRACTOR WILL REMAIN FULLY INSURED FOR DURATION OF
PROJECT. ALL MATERIALS ARE GUARANTEED TO BE AS SPECIFIED.
ALL WORK IS TO BE COMPLETED IN A WORKMANLIKE MANNER.
ALL DEBRIS WILL BE REMOVED AND YARD WILL BE KEPT CLEAN AT
ALL TIMES. ANY ALTERATION OR DEVIATION FROM ABOVE
SPECIFICATIONS INVOLVING EXTRA COSTS WILL BE EXECUTED IN
WRITING. DURATION OF PROJECT IS NOT TO EXCEED TWO MONTHS
FROM START DUE TO IMPENDING COOLER TEMPERATURES WHICH
AFFECT PAVING CONDITIONS.

Proposal: To construct a 12x22 garage including (1) 7x9 garage door
with windows and construct a new deck following plans drafted by
Aaron Socrat, Architect dated June 1, 2007 and including wetland
protection as indicated on plans drafted by Merrimack Engineering
dated August 30, 2007.
Proposed Work: Ground Level
1. Install a new foundation for the new garage structure.
2. Install two new garage door openers with rubber chains in existing
garage bays and install new garage door opener with rubber chain in
new garage structure, total of three new doors, all with windows, all to
match.
3. Cut a new opening to allow access from existing garage structure
into new one.
4. Remove 2 windows from existing garage and install them in new
structure.
5. Remove all clapboard from inside of new garage and install walls
suitable for plastering.
6. Insulate new garage per code and plaster with same design as
existing garage for symmetry.
7. Electrical work — Lights and outlets will be installed per positions on
plans by code.
Payment terms:
$14,400.00 Twenty Percent (20%) Due at Signing
$21,600.00 Thirty Percent (30%) Due Upon Completion of foundation
$18,000.00 Twenty-Five Percent (25%) Due Upon completion of
framing, roofing, siding and completion of deck construction.
$7,200.00 Ten Percent (10%) Due after insulation, electrical and plaster
$7,200.00 Ten Percent (10%) Due after garage door and driveway.
$3,600.00 Five Percent (5%) Due after receiving occupancy.
