We hereby submit specifications Brooks Ice Rink as follows:
➢ Existing tar and gravel roof will be removed to steel decking.
➢ Perimeter nailer will be raised to accept height of new insulation.
➢ 4"of ISO insulation will be installed with two layers of 2"ISO insulation.
➢ Due to moisture content in building,using thru deck fasteners may cause chipping o galvanized coating on underside of
decking which may cause rusting of decking around screws. Also a possibility of icing on exposed screw tips. An
adhesive type fastening system will be used.
➢ A.060 EPDM rubber membrane will be fully adhered to two layers of ISO.
➢ All fan curbs will be raised as necessary to achieve 8"of clearing above roof system.
➢ Chillers and blowers mounted on sleeper will be lifted and reinstalled to allow for roof replacement.
(disconnect/reconnect of any gas,water,freon or electrical not included)
➢' Existing drains will be cleaned and reused.
➢ Roof hatch will be replaced with a smoke and fire roof hatch.
➢ All curbs will be cleaned reinsulated and flashed as required.
➢ Existing expansion framing will remain. Expansion cover will be replaced.
➢ New scuppers and downspouts will be installed.
➢ All walls will be flashed as required by manufacturer's specs.
➢ Perimeter edge metal will be.032 aluminum with fascia cleat(colors:white,brown,light/dark bronze,mill finished or
black).
Roof to carry a Manufacturers labor and material warranty for 15 years.
All permit fees included.
NOTE: Please be aware that when roofing is applied there will be some falling debris in the attic. Please be sure to protect
your valuables as we are not res onsible for damaged items in the attic.
We hereby propose to furnish labor and materials—complete in accordance with the above specifications, for the sum of
Two Hundred Twenty Eight Thousand Eight Hundred dollars($ 228,800.00 )with payment to be made as follows:
$76,000.00 upon delivery of materials.$76,000.00 '/2 completion and balance upon completion
All material is guaranteed to be as specified. All work to be completed in a workmanlike manner according to standard
practices. Any or deviation from above specifications involving extra costs will be executed only upon written order&will
become an extra charge and above estimate. All agreements contingent upon strikes,accident or delays beyond our control.
