Andover,MA 01845 We hereby submit specifications Brooks Ice Rink as follows: ➢ Existing tar and gravel roof will be removed to steel decking. ➢ Perimeter nailer will be raised to accept height of new insulation. ➢ 4"of ISO insulation will be installed with two layers of 2"ISO insulation. ➢ Due to moisture content in building,using thru deck fasteners may cause chipping o galvanized coating on underside of decking which may cause rusting of decking around screws. Also a possibility of icing on exposed screw tips. An adhesive type fastening system will be used. ➢ A.060 EPDM rubber membrane will be fully adhered to two layers of ISO. ➢ All fan curbs will be raised as necessary to achieve 8"of clearing above roof system. ➢ Chillers and blowers mounted on sleeper will be lifted and reinstalled to allow for roof replacement. (disconnect/reconnect of any gas,water,freon or electrical not included) ➢' Existing drains will be cleaned and reused. ➢ Roof hatch will be replaced with a smoke and fire roof hatch. ➢ All curbs will be cleaned reinsulated and flashed as required. ➢ Existing expansion framing will remain.
