The Lvls are shown on plans prepared Lane Jones dated 10/30/97 and Detail Sheets D-I to D-4 prepared and certified by me dated 3/17/14 .The framing plans sheets 2,3,4.6,& 7 were certified by me for framing 3/17/14. at the time of this visit the house was framed, the roofing, siding, and garage door trim was in place. Based on the above site visit and based on what I could visibly see. I can certify that to the best of my knowledge the LVhs members and details utilized in the framing as shown on the drawings are installed properly and meet the9oading conditions of the 8th Edition of the Massachusetts State Building Code for 1&2 family Residences, provided the following work is perfonned. Garage door framing remove trim nail exterior sheathing at header and wall sections. add Simpson LSTA30 strap at interior edge of door openings,per sheet D-2. Add sheathing to wall between Garage and Basement,and 2,d floor walls as shown on sheets ' 6 and 3. Connect LVLs together with screws as shown on sheet D-1. At RB-4 Sheet 4 add 1 Simpson LS90 angle from the beam to the ridge to replace the missing LSSU410 hanger, sheet 4. All other framing requirements of the drawings and code, including but not limited to materials.nailing schedules, blocking, connections,manufacturers installation requirements and other details are the responsibility of the licensed construction supervisor responsible for the project.
