Dear Mr. Thompson,
As we discussed on the phone today, the Site Plan Review Decision for 210 Holt Road dated October 3,
2007, does state that prior to the issuance of a certificate of occupancy, the applicant will provide either a
letter stating that the landscaping complies with the approved plans or alternatively, that the applicant
provide a bond to cover the full amount of the landscaping materials and installation, if weather
conditions do not permit the completion of the landscaping prior to the use of the parking area.
During my site visit on Friday December 5h, we confirmed that the landscaping had not been completed
and subsequent to that meeting, you did provide me with a estimate from Viking Tree, Inc. for the
completion of the landscaping. That estimate is $23,785. The current balance in your Planning Board
cash -bond account is $15,000. In order for the Planning Office to approve a certificate of occupancy,
you will need to provide an additional $8,785 for the cash -bond account.
I reviewed the landscaping on the approved plan, and the majority of the landscaping is in front of the
parking area. The plans are very specific as to the number and types of trees and plants to be installed. If
you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

210 Holt Road North Andover, MA. Building Permit # 553 (03/28/08)

Building Department
Dear Mr. Brown
I have been present at the site at intervals appropriate to the stage of construction during the
construction period, and became familiar with the progress and quality of the work. I have
determined, to the best of my knowledge and belief, that the work was performed in a manner
consistent with the construction documents, the applicable provisions of the Mass. Building
Code -780 CMR and good construction practices. I have made the usual and normal field
observations for the purposes of evaluating the referenced building construction, and, based
upon my findings, it is my opinion that the building structure is sufficiently sound and adequate
to accommodate the proposed use and occupancy, and that no hazard to the public safety will
result. It is my determination that the project has been satisfactorily completed and the building
is ready for the intended occupancy.
Sincerely,
