Hello; I work for a Zoning Board of Appeals, and our Zoning Bylaw has this definition: "2.37.1 Floor Area,Gross (1987/20)
Gross floor area shall be the floor area within the perimeter of the outside walls of the building without deduction for hallways,stairs,closets,thickness of walls,columns or other
features."
am guessing, but do not know, that the figure after Tot Fin Area is NOT the same as the above definition for gross floor area. What gets counted, measured in
Tot Fin Area?

Hello, Mr. Cheney; a prospective ZBA applicant wants to do a Family Suite and part of the Zoning Bylaw for Family Suite Family Suite (1987/22) is:

lesser..."
I'm guessing that your Total Finished Area is not the same as Zoning Bylaw Gross Floor Area?

In other words, the applicant's dwelling has a total finished area of 2064, which would mean that 1/4 = 516 sq. ft? Mich.

Notice is hereby given that the North Andover Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public
heart in the High School Lecture Hall, 430 Osgood Street,North Andover, MA on Thursday
the 18 of June, 2009 at 7:30 PM to all parties interested in the application of Gayle Apkarian
& Renee A. Slack,trustees of Apkarian& Slack Revocable Trust,25 Dudley Street,(Map 19,
Parcel 53),North Andover, MA. They are requesting dimensional Variance from Section 2,
Paragraph 2.37.1 of the Zoning Bylaw for relief from the requirements of the Family Suite
definition for Gross Floor Area, a Finding from Section 2, Paragraph 2.37.1 and Section 4,
