Dear Mr.Zahoruiko
As you requested I visited the site November 12,2012 to review the installation
of the Engineered Materials consisting of LVLs and Steel Beams utilized in the framing
of the above project for Unit 32 Ciderpress Rd. These Engineered Materials are shown
on plans prepared by O'Sullivan Architects Dated 12-17-09 with the framing plans
certified by me 12-17-09,and revised framing sketches SK-1 to SK-4 dated 3/14/10 And
UNIT A revised rear shear wall dated 5/12/10.
Based on the above site visit and on what I could visibly see provided the below
Iisted exceptions are corrected I can certify that to the best of my knowledge the LVLs
and Steel Beam members utilized in the framing as shown on the drawings are installed
properly and meet the loading conditions of the 7h. Edition of the Massachusetts State
Building Code,
1.0 Insure all LVLs are connected together per the drawings see sheet A0.11.
2.0 Insure interior and exterior Shear walls are nailed as shown on A0.11, I did
not see the bottom plate nailing,the remaining nailing was not visable.
This certification is limited to the installation of LVL and Steel beams. All other
framing requirements of the drawings and code,including but not limited to materials,
nailing schedules, blocking,connections,other details and manufactures installation
requirements remain the responsibility of the framer and the licensed construction
supervisor responsible for the project.
