The proposed work includes the razing of two existing decks (12' x 14' and 5' x 9' in size), and the construction of 12' x 16' and 5' x 8' decks and associated stairs. The old footings will be removed and seven new concrete piers will be dug by hand, as shown on the attached sketch. Work will be conducted 62' from the edge of Bank associated to an intermittent stream at its closest point. The North Andover Conservation Department agrees with the location of the wetland boundary. During the April 14, 2010 public meeting, the North Andover Conservation Commission (NACC) voted unanimously to approve this project. Any erosion prevention and sedimentation protection measures found necessary during construction shall be implemented at the direction of the NACC. The NACC reserves the right to impose additional conditions on portions of this project to mitigate any impacts, which could result from site erosion, or any noticeable degradation of surface water quality discharging from the site.
