The following comes directly from NFPA 33: NFPA 33 Section 5 Construction of a Spray Booth Section 5.1.4 If walls or ceiling assemblies are constructed of sheet metal, single -skin assemblies shall be no thinner than 1.2 mm (0.0478 in.) and each sheet of double -skin assemblies shall be no thinner that 0.9 mm (0.0359 in.).
