This contract includes the terms listed below—please read and sign where indicated
2. The standard form of warranty shall apply to the service and equipment furnished(except where
other warranties of purchased products apply). The warranty shall become effective when signed by
the Seller and delivered to the Customer. The warranty is for one year on materials.
3. The delivery date,when given,will be deemed approximate and performance is subject to delays
caused by strikes,fires,acts of God or other reasons,not under the control of the Seller,as well as the
availability of the product at the time of delivery.
4. The Customer agrees to accept delivery of the product when ready. The risk of loss,as to damage or
destruction,shall be upon the customer upon the delivery and receipt of the product. Should the
Customer be unable to accept delivery and the product needs to be warehoused for any time,all
costs related to such will be the responsibility of the Customer. The second payment will be due at
time of storage and must be paid or it will become subject to interest charges.
5. The Customer understands that the products described are specifically designed and custom built and
the Seller takes immediate steps upon execution of this Agreement to order those items;therefore,
this Agreement is not subject to cancellation by the Customer for any reason
6. Possession of the item sold in this Agreement shall not pass to the Customer until the full price of
the product is paid to the Seller.
7. Delays in payment shall be subject to interest charges of 18%per annum,and in no event higher
than the interest rate provided by law if the Seller is required to engage the services of a collection
agency or attorney,the Customer'agrees to reimburse the Seller for any reasonable amounts
expended in order to collect any unpaid balance.

fl. This Agreement sets forth the entire transaction between the parties,any and all prior Agreements,
warranties or representations made by either party are replaced by this Agreement All changes will
be made in a separate document No agent of the Seller,unless authorized in writing;has any
authority to waive,alter or change this Agreement with any new or substitute contracts,
representations or warranties.
9. The Seller retains the right upon breech of this Agreement by the Customer to sell those items in the
Seller's possession. In effecting any resale on breach of this Agreement by the Customer,the Seller
shall be deemed to act in the capacity of agent for the Customer. The Customer shall be liable for
any net deficiency on resale.
10. The Seller agrees that it will perform this contract in conformity with customary industry practices.
The Customer agrees that any claim for adjustment shall not be reason or cause for failure to make
payment of the purchase price in full. Any unresolved controversy or claim arising from or under
this Agreement shall be settled by arbitration and judgment upon the reward rendered may be
entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. The arbitration shall be held under the rules of the
American Arbitration Association.
11. Should any problem arise upon the installation of the products by subcontractors other than an
Apple Wood Kitchen&Bath,Inc authorized and approved contractor,Apple Wood reserves the
right to determine solution and fault
We will charge$75.00 for the first hour and$50.00 for each additional hour to determine a solution
and fault If fault is found to be on Apple Wood Kitchen&Bath,Inc,there will be no charges.
12. All plans(floor plans and elevations)that may be included in this Agreement are strictly visual and do
not represent any type of scale. The purpose is to provide an idea of the finished project

Part III
This agreement shall become binding only upon the contractor's written acceptance here of or upon the contractor's
commencing performance. You may cancel this agreement if it has been consummated by a party there to at a place
other than the address of the seller,which may be his main office or branch office by ordinary mail,by telegram or by
delivery,not later than midnight of the third business day following the signing of this agreement in accordance with

The contractor will do all such work in a workman-like manner. In the event of discovery of hidden damage,it will be
charged in a cost plus manner,labor,plus material,plus twenty percent(20%). This amount is due immediately upon
completion.
The owner(s)agree that in the event of cancellation of this contract before work is started,the owner(s)shall pay to the
contractor,on demand,twenty-five(25%)of the contract price plus any material that may have been ordered as it's
stipulated damages.
Part V
The owner(s)will bear the burden of any penalties or fees associated with delays or litigation necessary to complete this
contract and collection of all monies due. Delay in payment of any portion of this contract shall be subject to interest
charges of eighteen percent(181/6)per annum.
There are no other agreements,understandings,representation or warranties,verbal or otherwise,expressed or implied,
which are not contained herein.
All additional work and/or materials requested by the owner(s)must be paid immediately.

KITCHEN/FIRST FLOOR RENOVATIONS
1. An allowance of$960.00 is included to obtain town permits.
2. Prep area to control dust as much as possible.
3. Removal of existing:
a. Cabinets and countertops
b. Soffit over refrigerator—removal of closet and re-work/add onto soffit as needed.
NOTE: It is unknown what is in the soffit and additional charges could apply
c. Wallboard as needed in multiple spots
d. Toilet and pedestal sink. Toilet to be re-installed.
e. Closet doors
f. Study doors
g. Columns(unless found to be structural)
h. Stair treads,newel posts,balusters and landing
i. Floor and baseboard down to subfloor on entire first floor and second floor hallway
(excluding mudroom,family room and great room)
j. Removal of half wall between kitchen and family room
k. Re-work door and pass through between kitchen and great room according to plan.
4. Dining room/living room:
a. Re-work opening from living room to foyer to be finished with decorative posts and
headpiece(to be described in finish work section)
b. Set up for posts to sit on top of cabinets
c. Try to open up opening in kitchen even by just a few inches—to be a beaded opening to
keep it as wide as possible.
5. Kitchen:
a. Set up for roughly 93"+/-opening over sink with 24"wall to left that will be set up for
recessed panel look(to be described in finish work section)
NOTE: Beam size will need to be determined. If town requires stamped plans additional
charges will apply.
b. Fill in existing sidelight
c. Opening between dining room to be determined,we can see what is in the wall and also
will depend on kitchen design. We plan on trying to get 6"-8"+/-and then set up to be
a beaded opening
d. Build onto floor to extend towards family room,2'-0"+/-and construct half wall.

6. Foyer/upstairs hallway:
a. Remove bottom tread(due to being rounded)
b. Set up for new stairs/newel posts and wainscoting.
7. Rough plumbing allowance of$2500.00 is given to include the following work to be completed
by a licensed plumber:
a. Re-work water,drain and vent as needed
b. Re-work gas
8. HVAC:
a. Supply and install vent and make-up air for hood.
NOTE: Any other HVAC work would be an additional charge. After seeing exterior of house
in daylight we may not be able to run duct work out due to existing roof lines. If not, re-
circulating kit will be needed for hood and you could deduct$1500.00 from total.
9. Any sprinkler work is not included and would be an additional charge.
10. Electrical allowance of$9500.00 is given to include the following work to be completed by a
licensed electrician:
a. Supply and install 4-6 LED recessed lights in living room
b. Supply and install 4-6 LED recessed lights in dining room
c. Supply and install 14-16 LED recessed lights in kitchen on 2-3 dimmer switches
d. Re-work existing lights as needed
e. Re-work for new kitchen design(still to be determined)
f. Supply and install 5-6 LED under cabinet lights in kitchen
g. Supply and install 5-6 LED lights in glass cabinets
h. Supply and install 4-6 LED under cabinet lights in study
i. Re-work outlets for study(still to be determined)
j. Add outlet in cabinet in study for charging station and for tower.
k. Move light and install new customer supplied fixture over new table location.
NOTE: If another panel is required additional charges will apply
NOTE: We may have to make some holes in basement and additional charges would apply

11. Wallboard as follows:
a. Repair all holes made on first floor

12. Stairs:
a. Supply materials and construct wainscoting up stairs and landing also wall against stairs
and cellar stair wall. Wainscoting to be recessed panel.
b. Supply and install one 7%" recessed panel square newel post on floor and beginning of
stairs
c. Supply and install four 4" recessed panel square newel posts
d. Supply and install handrail and goose necks as needed
e. Supply and install pre-painted balusters
f. Supply and install treads
g. Supply and install skirt boards and risers as needed
NOTE: All oak except balusters.
NOTE: To be stained and polyurethaned or just polyurethaned to be determined.
13. Oak hardwood flooring:
a. Supply and install 4"unfinished white oak flooring to entire first floor excluding
mudroom,family room and great room.
b. Supply and install 4" unfinished white oak flooring in second floor hallway and stair
landing
c. Sand all new flooring
d. Stain all new flooring(color TBD)
e. Seal all new flooring
f. Supply and apply 2 coats polyurethane to all new flooring(sheen to be matte finish)
g. At end of job all new flooring to be buffed and final coat of polyurethane to be applied.
NOTE: Anytime we put on a coat of polyurethane is 1-2 days you need to stay off of floor.
14. Finish work to include:
a. Supply and install 5%" pre-primed speedbase baseboard to all rooms with new flooring
b. Supply and install new molded closet door(style TSD)
