These Beams were designed by me and shown on drawings prepared by Steve Foster. As you requested I reviewed the 3 '/2 " plumbing openings in the Boise Cascade BCI 90 s floor joist, these holes are acceptable as they are located in compliance with the manufactures recommendations. I have reviewed the design of these LVL beams used in the structure and can certify that the beams are acceptable and meet the loading conditions required by the Massachusetts State Building Code. No allowance has been made to obtain a variance, or conservation approvals if required by town. Excavating Excavation required to install frost wall foundation will be provided. Any additional fill will be used to regrade back yard, or be removed from site as required. Backfilling and rough grading will be provided. No allowance has been made for any landscaping, lawn installation, or removal of ledge. Foundation Poured concrete foundation will be provided as shown on pians. Footings will be 10"x20", walls will be 10" thick, grade to be determined in field. Rough concrete slab will be poured in new crawl space area. Opening through existing foundation, to new crawl space will be approximately four feet wide. No allowance has been made for full basement area. Building All frame, roof, and siding materials will be provided to match existing / meet code / as shown on plans. Floor joists and roof rafters will be 2x10, exterior walls will be 2x4.
