Section I-Work Schedule
Contractor will begin the work or order the materials before the third day following the signing of this agreement, unless specified here in
writing contractor will begin work on or about 9/30/07.
Barring Delay caused by circumstances beyond Contactors control,the work will be completed by 12/15/07.The owner hereby acknowledges
and agrees that the scheduling dates are approximate and that such delays that are not avoidable by the Contractor shall no be considered as
violations of this agreement.
Section 11-Warranty
The Contractor warrants that the work furnished hereunder shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 1 year
following completion and shall comply with the requirements of this Agreement. In the event any defect in workmanship or materials, or
damage caused by the Contractor, his subcontractors, employees or agents, is discovered within one year after completion of any job,
including cleanup,the Contractor shall,at his own expense,forthwith remedy,repair correct,replace,or cause to be remedied,repaired,or
replaced, such damage or such defect in materials or workmanship. The foregoing warranties shall survive any inspection performed in
connection with the agreed-upon work.

General
Building permit will be provided by contractor. No allowance has been made to obtain any variances, or
conservation approvals, if required by town. Proposal is to build addition to a weather tight state. No allowances
have been made for any mechanical work, or any interior finishes.
Excavating
Excavation required to install frost wall foundations will be provided. Backfilling and rough grading will be
provided. Any additional fill will be removed from site. Existing natural gas line will be relocated as required. No
allowance has been made for any sprinkler repairs, landscaping, lawn installation,or removal of ledge.
Foundation
Frost wall foundation will be provided as shown on plans. Concrete cutting will be performed to gain access to
new crawl space area.Crawl spaces will have rough concrete slabs poured in them.
Building
All frame, roof, and siding materials will be provided to meet building code/match existing/as shown on plans.
Floor joists will be 2x12, walls will be 2x4, roof rafters will be 2x10. All sheathing will be fir plywood ( 3/4 on
floors, 1/2 on walls, 5/8 on roof) . Ten Anderson TW400 series doublehung windows will be provided as shown
on plans. Two Therma-tru steel exterior door units will be provided, one single door unit, one unit with two
sidelights. An allowance of$2000 has been included for Anderson round top window unit(to go above entrty
door ) . Ceilings will be strapped, interior petitions will be 2x4. Thirty year roof shingles will be supplied and
installed to match existing. Ice & water sheild will be installed at all roof edges and valleys. Siding will be
preprimed cedar clapboards over Tyvek or equivalent. New exterior trim details, columns, comerboards, etc. to
be approved by owner prior to installation(trim details to match new house across the street).
Plumbing
Gas piping required inside house(for relocation of supply line from street)will be provided.
No allowance has been made for an other plumbing in existing house or addition.

All construction debris will be disposed of by contractor.

No allowance has been made for any landscaping, lawn or sprinkler repairs, electrical work, interior demolition,
plastering, painting, or interior finishes . No allowance has been made to relocate electrical service
