CALL TO ORDER: John Leeman, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 5:15 PM.
ATTENDANCE: The following were present: John Leeman, Chairman; Kevin Foley; Donald Stewart;
David Torrisi; Richard M. Stanley, Chief of Police (William Duffy was not present).
POLICE OFFICER INTERVIEWS - CERTIFICATION#970855: The Board of Selectmen held a
meeting to interview and appoint three permanent police officers. The following were interviewed in the
order in which they are listed:
Daniel Crevier, Jay Staude,William Brush, Paul MacMillan, Brendon Forest and Jeff Sapienza.
Mr. Torrisi stated for the record that he has known Paul MacMillan for many years and had worked with
Jeff Sapienza some years ago. The Board cast written ballots to indicate their appointment preference.
The first ballot indicated that Daniel Crevier and Paul MacMillan would be appointed. The second ballot
indicated that William Brush would be appointed. Kevin Foley made a motion, seconded by
Donald Stewart,to appoint Daniel Crevier, Paul MacMillan and William Brush as permanent police
officers; vote approved 4-0.
ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business,the Board voted to adjourn this meeting.
