Landscape Construction Services
1)Deck work-Furnish labor and materials as needed to install the deck expansion,decking replacement
and railing replacement as discussed,outlined and shown on the construction drawing,including
waterproofing system,column cladding,construction drawing,debris disposal,and joist enclosure.
2)Complete drainage work and make repairs to the existing wall at the comer of the house.
3)Repair lawn and damage to irrigation system-revisions to the system as needed due to revised
layout to be determined.
4)General cleanup of work areas.
Contract Amount; $ 22,766.18 Twenty-two thousand,seven hundred,sixty-sft and 18/100 dollars
Payments are to be made as follows; Retainer( $ 7,588.73 )required returned with the signed contract
Progress Payment( $ 7,588.73 )due upon completion of 1/2 of the work
Adjusted Balance( $ 7,588.72 is due in full upon completion
All materials are guaranteed to be as specified. All work is to be completed in a professional manner as per standard practice.Any
alteration or deviation from the above scope of work involving additional costs will be executed only upon written orders and will become
an additional charge. All agreements are contingent upon strikes,accidents,weather and other delays beyond our control,as well as

Here's the portion of the work delayed from last fall;
2) Deck work- Furnish materials and labor as needed to expand
the existing deck incl. PT framing, Azec composite decking and
railing system with hidden fastener system. All other hardware
is to be hot-dipped galvanized. Construction drawing for building
permit included. $ 11,160.00
* Remove existing decking and replace all decking with Azec
decking and hidden fastener system on existing framing $ 6,444.00
* Provide 4' x 8' corrugated plastic sheets, approx. 3/16" thick
and tarred felt paper under the new decking to provide a
waterproof barrier over the patio below the deck
Enclose joists below deck with 4' x 8' Beadboard Sheeting $ 1,282.50
* Replace existing railings and add new railings using Azec Railing
system with sleeves to cover 4" x 4" posts to provide strength. $ 4,800.00
* Deck lighting to be be determined prior to construction.

5) Wall repair- Rebuild the existing lower retaining wall using
the stockpiled stones to provide a level top and layout as
shown. New wall to be shorter as it's being built above the
new seating wall by the patio $ 250.00
6) Drainage - Pick up 2 downspouts into 4" corrugated PVC,
excavate 12" deep trench to outfalls as shown with rubble
packed around the spillway to prevent erosion. $ 631.50

The current exemption for"homeowners"was extended to include owner-occupied dwellings
of six units or less and to allow such homeowners to engage an individual for hire who does
not possess a license, provided that the owner acts as supervisor. (State Building Code Section 109.1.1)
DEFINITION OF HOMEWOWNER:
Person(s)who owns a parcel of land on which he/she resides or intends to reside,on which
there is, or is intended to be,a one to six family dwelling,attached or detached structures ac-
cessory to such use and and/or farm structures. A person who constructs more than one home in a
two-year period shall not be considered a homeowner. Such"homeowner"shall submit to the Building Official,
a form acceptable to the Building Official,that he/she shall be responsible for all such work performed under the
building permit. (Section 109.1.1)
