Contractor Arbitration
The Home Improvement Contractor Law provides homeowners with•the right to initiate an .
alternative to -court action) if they have a dispute with acontractas a
or. The same right arbitration action is not automatically afforde
contractor, however. The contractor would have to resolve any dispute he/she to a'

'A homeowner's rights under the Home Improvement Contractor Law (MGL chapter 142A) and other consumer

contractor, all goods sold in Massachusetts carry an implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular
